Joe Latina Honored with Charlie King MVP Award
Congratulations to Joe Latina of Patterson-Woods Commercial Properties Inc./CORFAC International in Wilmington, Delaware, who is this year’s recipient of the CORFAC Standard of Excellence Charlie King MVP Award. CORFAC’s 2020 President Alan Joel, CCIM, of Joel and Granot Commercial Real Estate/CORFAC International in Atlanta, Georgia, made the announcement during the organization’s 2020 Virtual Board of Directors meeting on September 10.
This award is bestowed annually to the member considered by CORFAC’s President to be the “most valuable player” over the past 12 months. The award was created in honor of CORFAC co-founder Charlie King Jr., for his devoted and exceptional service to the organization.
“I am truly humbled and honored to be named the 2020 recipient of the Charlie King Award,” Latina said. “It is no secret that 2020 has been a challenging year, but with strong leadership and an amazing staff, CORFAC has adapted and persevered. I look forward to the continued growth and prosperity of our organization into 2021 and for many years to come.”
Latina, who is currently serving as Vice President of the organization, has spearheaded numerous network-building initiatives. His role as past chairman of the organization’s Affiliation Development Committee led to the acquisition of several new member offices in key markets. He also helped to build CORFAC’s retail profile with an expanded presence at the International Council of Shopping Centers’ RECon event in recent years.
The Standards of Excellence Awards are awarded annually and recognize individuals who exemplify excellence, integrity, dedication and participation in the CORFAC network. Read about all of CORFAC’s 2020 Standards of Excellence winners.
